❌ Not included: The set does not include sauna stones, the cement board (60 × 40 cm) required under the stove, high-temperature silicone and mounting foam for sealing, or optional mineral wool insulation for additional heat protection. Basic tools such as a drill/driver, level, wrench, and sealant gun are also not provided and should be prepared separately.
FAQ
Assembly requires only standard household tools: a cordless drill/driver with bits (TORX T25 and PZ2), drill bits Ø8, a jigsaw, measuring tape, spirit level, rubber mallet, utility knife, and two wrenches. You will also need a sealant gun and a paintbrush for applying protective oil. For the chimney installation, metal scissors (tin snips) are recommended. All other parts and fasteners are included in the set.

The materials are of good quality and can be assembled without problems if you have some practical skills. Every detail can be checked in the video provided, which is very helpful if questions come up. However, it takes about three working days for two people to complete the build. The sauna is really high quality. The instructions could be better, but if you use a bit of common sense, you’ll manage just fine. Customer service is top-notch.
The manual is a bit dry in places but the idea is clear. Assembly in 2 days without rush. Steam is dense and the birch whisk works great. We refresh the exterior oil periodically and the look stays fresh.
Installed at our cottage. First a dry warm-up then we ladle water for dense and pleasant steam. All bags were labeled so we never mixed parts. We periodically refresh the exterior oil and it stays well kept. Wood is very high quality.
The truck set it by the plot and we carried the parts in together. Assembly is like a kit, no surprises. We enjoy evening sessions around 80 °C followed by tea with honey. For price-to-quality Gardj is very strong.
One board was slightly warped; a quick sand and it was straight. Stove ramps up quickly, stones hold heat, birch whisk works great. Assembly in 2 days without rush. Thick walls keep the heat for longer.
Tip: prepare dry firewood in small and medium pieces for a faster start. Everything else is intuitive. Benches are smooth with no splinters. Timber is sturdy and looks premium.
Neighbors came to look and now they want one too. Thick beams, door pulls in snugly, draft is stable. Feels like a countryside evening. Wood is on point and a Gardj sauna was definitely a good buy.
Delivery on time, parts labeled logically. The manual is fine and the video helps. We oiled it twice from the start. Timber is top grade and the walls seem thicker than average in this class.
First burn was empty and after that everything was smooth. Stones hold heat, the bench is comfortable, and the back relaxes. Thick walls give stable warm-up. Purchase of the year for us.
